All the questions! Ok, put them behind the cut…
Ignan: 16: Do they collect anything? What do they do with it? Where do they keep it?
Ignan considers that he collects rubbish essays from his students most often, which he marks and sends back with disparaging comments. He has collected some items from his travels, mostly the ones he has retained have use in teaching his subject, or have value for memories. He doesn’t actively seek to collect anything, though has like many academics and wizards, a fairly comprehensive personal library. His and Mira’s new place in Hogsmeade has a room crammed full of healing and defensive topics.
Ignan: 22. What are their favourite insults to use? What do they insult people for? Or do they prefer to bitch behind someone’s back?
Whatever springs to mind! He isn’t conscious of a particular set of stock phrases, but he enjoys turning a student’s statement round on themselves later. His usual insults are for their magical abilities, their effort and results. He might take a swipe a colleague for their disorganisation of paperwork and marking, or inability to discipline and control students he also teaches. If he ‘bitches’ of sorts, it’s with his few closer contacts, he’s not afraid of saying things to someone’s face.
Cepheus: 29. What do they do when they find out someone else’s fear? Do they tease them? Or get very over protective?
99% of the time respects. Will not make a fuss. May depend on the context. If it is a work situation with a being, he will offer advice and arrange regular introduction to reduce fear. If it is a friend he might offer a supportive clasp of a hand or attempt to smoothly intervene if entirely tongue-tied. He would feel it rude to pry, or to critically analyse, but might ask a few questions to understand if the fear interrupted a situation seriously. He’s a very patient soul so has more time to pause and let someone regain their composure. Would not entertain actively avoiding life situations or the sake of it, as he would consider it limiting.
Cepheus: 20: Do they like musicals? Music in general? What do they do when they’re favourite song comes?
Ceph has only seen musical within the realm of the wizarding world, not yet a Muggle one (though he’d like to). He very much enjoys listening to music on the wireless, records and performance. He would slip out of work to listen to lunchtime recitals while he was working in the Goblin office, and pauses longer than most to enjoy buskers. At home he will often pick out things as best he can by ear on the piano and sing, and is not against playing to family. Friends he feels would do it under duress. In high spirits Ceph will hum to himself or break into singing the odd line, often triggered by hearing a phrase in conversation. His favourite songs will have him singing along, and Claude the cat has been a stoic audience to many domestic performances. Out with friends it could mean being dragged to your feet to dance.
Johann: 50. If they could only take one bag of stuff somewhere with them: what would they pack? What do they consider their essentials?
Balfour is clearly an essential, but he probably doesn’t fit in a bag. So, toothbrush, money (potentially multiple currencies), change of clothes, identity documents, wand, address book. Pretty much the usual contents of his bag, though probably a couple of headache remedies, sleeping potions and a ton of paperwork too.
Camille: 26. How do they act when they’re happy? Do they sing? Dance? Hum? Or do they hide their emotions?
Lots of clasping loved ones faces and kissing them on the cheeks! (Not so loved ones might also experience it if she’s had some wine) A brilliant grin (revealing where someone inherited it from) which would reduce to a closed lipped one eventually with rosy cheeks. More flamboyant movements, quicker speech, lots of laughter and grander expressions. Energetic, keen to share her mood with others.
