What They Would Be Famous For:
“I could never be famous. I think it is hellish. I was recognisable for a time for all the wrong reasons, and that was horrible enough. I suppose famous in terms of ‘known’ might be nice, if it was for being a wonderful teacher, or something equally heartening.”
What They Would Get Arrested For:
“Defending a member of close family from injustice, though I would only do as a last resort, before violence.”
OC You Ship Them With:
Late Wolfgang Storm, obviously, and I know @tacetlupus ships her with Angus McBoid!
OC Most Likely To Murder Them:
“Nobody! I sincerely hope.”
Favorite Movie/Book Genre:
“Absolutely adore the wireless plays on the radio. Comedies, adventures, mysteries - in the weeks after my husband’s death I would listen to them with my eyes firmly closed, imagining the scenes and the characters. It was a welcome escapism. I used to enjoy fantasy stories as a younger woman, and of course terribly written romantic novels were an easy read once in a while before I courted Wolfgang. Otherwise I do pick up the odd historical novel and I can get quite drawn into mysteries. Actually, I am just beginning to read through the work of Agatha Christie which was recommended to me.”
Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche:
“I’m not at all drawn into anything related to wars or battles, or any of that very modern Muggle fiction some of my students read. Things that claim there are people living on the moon and such nonsense.“
Talents and/or Powers:
- Arithmancy
- Strong mental arithmetic
- Financial management
- Neat quillwork, used to indulge in calligraphy
- Dextrous
- Origami, wrapping and similar crafting
- Multilingual
Why Someone Might Love Them:
- Patient
- Caring

Why Someone Might Hate Them:
- For her associations
- For not taking sides
How They Change:
Once a shadow behind her husband, Camille had a rather large wake-up call in 2010 and realised her vulnerable situation. She went from believing her husband was largely innocent to realising how awful he had been, to losing him and almost losing her son in the matter of a few months. Camille is resilient, and had been tolerating the extended family of her husband and his behaviour. On her own she is more ready to form opinions and explore the world by herself and take a new direction in life. She will probably end up being the grandmother who spends most of the year off to far-flung places and come back with all manner of weird and wonderful stories.
Why You Love Them:
Despite everything thrown at her, Camille still manages to express a deep love for those around her. She is a fantastically caring, polite and kind person in contrast to the family she married into. Writing her makes me smile, especially when she is motherly to characters. There is much left to explore with her and what can happen next, I only wish I wrote her more often.
