Aspiration Headcanons
I’m on a train on the way back from a crash course in Malay culture from @castnuri. Time for unrelated headcanons: future aspirations. I feel I may have done similar before, but situations change.
Storm, Ignan - life has changed a lot in 2010, so he will take his health, and hope he and Miranda are still taking the piss out of each other in 20 years. Teach as long as he can until he is too decrepit and then perhaps write a text book of how you should teach the subject to belittle his successor.
Storm, Johann - grow old and grey with Bal and have children in some sense or the other. Pack in the criminal work, especially once children arrive. Perhaps work privately or entirely work for the ministry and seek dept head status. Depending on how grounded life feels. Stop running away. Stick two fingers up at the old family.
Storm, Camille - enjoy teaching while she can, perhaps change careers or teach abroad. Enjoy her grandchildren and extended family descendants and aspire to be the demanded babysitter. Travel the world alone to see the parts she missed. Perhaps meet someone to love. She isn’t sure anyone is there though.
Gamp, Mortimer - finish his research and go down in history, or die trying.
Gamp, Cepheus - keep the Gamp family home in Godric’s Hollow. Marry, lots of cats, children perhaps. If not in London, become a world recognised expert in a topic he is yet to decide upon. Or just be happy, comfortable and fixing problems for Beings.
Gamp, Ariadne - break a few records, discover a few places, live abroad. Not yet considering children, may never settle down, but young and doesn’t want to think about it.
Pepper, Francis - retire with a small army of apprentices trained, his family happy and spend his days with Gabrielle wherever and whenever.
Pepper, Ambrose - have a family of his own and lots and lots of animals. To one day be able to say OWLs and NEWTs aren’t important because he succeeded in life without them. (Not the wizarding Richard Branson)
Pepper, Monty - paint a thousand portraits. See great grandchildren. See flying cars in Britain. Hope his Muggle wife, Catherine lives a long life with him and that he copes after she passes.
Glass, Edwin - become minister and change everything he hates.
Musgrave, Lawrence - die without pain. Or become all powerful and outdo Voldemort. Or escape abroad, live out his years quietly. Probably none of them.
Shufflebottom, William - live until old and grey and pass on the farm to his children and their children.
Mordent, Elixa - either find someone and have a family, and/or if that doesn’t work out, figure out some amazing new healing techniques and train new healers.
