Travel headcanons
I’m on a train so time for some @absitomenrpg Travel head canons. None of mine are animagi otherwise I would list some rather species-specific methods!
Storm, Ignan - apparates and walks as much as possible. Floo otherwise. Hasn’t been on a broom in a long time and has ridden all manner of beasts. Very suspicious of muggle cars.
Storm, Johann - floo, particular love of the international floo. Apparates and walks very long distances around London. Can fly a broom but doesn’t own one and is a novice. Can’t drive, but has a pact with Balfour to learn up in Scotland some time. Can ride a bicycle quite well.
Storm, Camille - loved broom riding in her youth. Hates floo with a passion and feels sick after it, but suffers it necessarily. Apparates proficiently. Can ride horses with moderate proficiency.
Gamp, Mortimer - apparates and has spent a long time perfecting a quieter apparition for stealthy reasons. Otherwise floo. Never glimpsed walking very far and will not use a broom.
Gamp,Cepheus - occasionally takes a broom for a spin. Commonly apparates and uses the floo, the occasional portkey. Has tried a bit of driving but isn’t licensed. Can ride a bicycle but doesn’t own one. Owns an Oyster card and can navigate the tube.
Gamp, Ariadne - hasn’t yet taken her apparition license. Loves to ride a broom and is a proficient sailor.
Pepper, Francis - apparates regularly. Some floo. Has been in one of Monty’s car with Gabrielle to escape Dementors over Peterborough.
Pepper, Ambrose - too young to learn to apparate but intends to learn. Side along apparates mostly in the holidays and has a bicycle to see local muggle friends.
Pepper, Monty - obvious reasons, flying car, car and motorbike. Otherwise floo and apparition though less often.
Glass, Edwin - floo, apparates. Very occasionally a portkey. Drives his classic muggle car but it was temporarily confiscated and stopped down after Monty flew it round Guilden Morden.
Musgrave, Lawrence - apparates exclusively. Doesn’t use the floo as it is monitored. Can fly a broom but doesn’t own one.
Shufflebottom, William - apparates, and walks a lot. Can drive a cart and ride a variety of magical creatures.
Mordent, Elixa - floo, apparates, waking. Can fly a broom and use a variety of winter transport methods like skis and skates for pleasure. Can ride horses very well.
