Morning headcanons
I’m on a train, so it’s time for some quick headcanons!
Ignan - early riser, prefers not to talk for the first half hour to hour and just follow personal routines. Rare to lay in bed, even if Miranda is there.
Johann - dependent on the sleep the night before, but often gets up to prowl, active, fidgety, would rather go to work early. However with deeper sleep and a bed companion, can doze, laze and consider bed the most comfortable place in the world.
Camille - has a routine, of the school of thought that getting up early allows her to get more done. Will sit in bed with tea and read papers if nothing to rush and do.
Edwin - later to rise, depending on company and whether he is on call or has declared a weekend as no contact unless the next dark lord overthrows the ministry. Tries not to lack sleep despite sleeping at odd hours from call outs and night cover.
Mortimer - has always got up the same time in the morning for decades despite the day, and the time he went to bed. Takes breakfast in morning clothes at dining table before dressing formally for the day.
Ariadne - typical teenager, occasionally oversleeps, hair on end. Dozy until she has had a shower.
Ambrose - tries to get up and go and help with the animals at school. At home can sleep in late.
Francis - nurses a pot of tea before he is fully awake. Snoozes a while with Gabrielle if he can persuade her not to rush to work.
Monty - in summer rises earlier to make use of morning light, tried to rise with daughters when young. Gets up with Catherine when she is working and always brings her tea to her bedside and kisses her awake.
Lawrence - sleeps with one eye open so has no routine.
Willy - kisses Gladys-May and gets up to tend to all his animals while she also gets up an joins him, if not getting the children up to help and do their chores too. All eat together after animals if they have enough to eat.
