“Gruesome” sickness, a secret from Lix and what Lawrence sees in the mirror of Erised… and others (cc bergamotpan castnuri)
Johann
10: Detail a most gruesome tale of when they were ill
The most gruesome to date has been the syrup of hellebore poisoning and the glowing vomit, but we know that story.
The only other time that Johann can keenly remember being ill on any ‘gruesome’ scale and not related to potions was when he simply came down with a proper stomach bug while travelling. It began triumphantly on a bus, where he threw up over a few locals. A scuffle ensued, finished by yet more puke. He and his travel companions managed to get him back to the hostel and he didn’t leave the bathroom. He had to barricade himself in much to the irritation of his travelling partners who left him to it the following day. It kept both ends busy overnight while they tried to sleep next door. Eventually he managed to fitfully sleep it off alone in the day and sweat out an accompanying fever in terrific heat, complete with his usual hallucinations. To their credit, his companions did bring back some possible remedies by mid afternoon, and arrange to stay an extra couple of days to let him recover.

11: Explain how they’d feel if they were to find out about Muggles in space
Amazed. Possibly wouldn’t believe. Would find it very foreign a concept. Would want to see photographs and probably spend a few hours just imagining with a wide-eyed stare.
14: Let you in on one of their secrets.
One of Lix’s night pick-ups turned sour back in Sweden, and although she managed to escape without too serious an injury, she left him with his little finger hanging off from her teeth in the struggle amongst other injuries. Although generally this doesn’t revisit her, she bolted from a couple of one-night stands in the years that followed in fear of a similar situation, based on something said or a wish to play with power.
And for a silly one - when very very drunk and coming home alone shortly after Arcturus went away to Malaysia, she came back, mistook a tin of Rustle’s catfood for tinned meat for human consumption, warmed it up and ate half before she realised, shrugged to herself and finished the rest off.
Lawrence
3: Try to explain what they might see in the mirror of Erised
Lawrence sees the life he can never have. Him, in crimson robes, married, two hands, three children one already at Hogwarts age with a Gryffindor tie, one at least with his brown curly hair, and a girl he rather liked at school as his wife, only he found out after his release that she’d passed away.
All in all, it is best he does not encounter it.
9: Recount the Sorting Hat’s thoughts as it sat on their head
He was not hatstall. The sorting hat could hear him thinking 'Gryffindor, Gryffindor, Gryffindor’ its brim. He was not ambitious or sly enough to make Slytherin.
